Spring Break Pt.2 and a little something Random

First, let me say I have no clue how many parts my Spring Break post are going to be. I originally was going to wait and do post the week after Spring Break, but I know it would take forever for me to sort through pictures and to get it all organized.
I took the girls out to eat at Razzoo's for dinner, and they wanted to eat outside so we did and then afterwards I let them play on the playground they have out back. My hubby decided not to go with us, he opted to stay at home and watch basketball, he's been playing this thing they call "Parlay" so he's all about watching the games and getting the scores. It kind of drives me crazy, because he's NOT an athletic person so to speak so his need to tune every TV in our house on sports is driving me nuts.

The weather we have been having here in the Dallas area has been perfect, we even hit 80 degrees yesterday. Perfect Spring weather!!

RANDOM: Here these past few weeks I've been blog hopping around, and I've came across some very interesting blogs, and I really didn't realize that so many women blog. I think that it's so neat to see a glimpse into other peoples lives and to see what is blog worthy to so many other women. I have to say I don't put that much detail thought into my blogs I hardly ever proof read it before posting, and I hardly ever spell check it. I do however try to proof the pictures I post especially of my kids, for obvious reasons.

Reading so many others blogs I've noticed the things I don't do on my blog:) I'm not going to change how I blog but it just got me thinking. I have to admit that I felt a kinda way about my post, because almost everyone else's seemed so put together and thoughtful. And, well mine is somewhat of a diary in a sense. I blog because I want to have a journal my kids can look back on when they get older, or God forbid something happen to me I want something for my family to look back on and see where some of my thoughts were. Because, of that I don't blog to much about particular personal issues, and I don't "air my laundry" on here. I do try my best to keep it honest, but I do omit some personal details about our life.
I'm always curious to see why and how do others blog-How/Why do you blog?
On another Random note, I really want to loose weight I'm talking about 30-40 pounds. I really need to, I used to weigh right at 130 pounds and now I'm around 165, I have to admit that I do carry it well. But, I'm over this weight and really wish I could stick to a diet and exercise routine. My problem is I LOVE to eat, and I'm a little lazy. This summer I'm looking forward to rocking some cute little short shorts, and tanks but I'm going to have to get my weight under control. I'm not against taking diet pills, so if anybody knows of any over the counter weight loss pills please let me know.
And, my last Random for the day: I heard another song by Carrie Underwood called "Don't Forget To Remember Me"...Love this song, it makes me attempt to think about the day my girls will leave home and go off to college when their around age 18-Let the tears start flowing, mama's. I love the lyrics to this song.
DON'T FORGET TO REMEMBER ME.................

Spring Break Weekend Recap Pt.1

We started our Spring Break that Saturday, March 10th. I had made hair appointments for both Eriana and myself last Saturday. Ed and I had decided we would go to Texarkana to see my granny because she hadn't been feeling to well. But, by the time the girls and I left the beauty shop it was raining outside so we decided that we weren't going to go, that with some other things that had went on when we left. So we get home and get somewhat settled, I got two text messages one from my parents and one from my cousin saying that they had just called 911, for my granny and they were transporting her to the hospital-so immediately I told Ed and we got the girls and headed to Texarkana. Luckily, I had gotten the girls bags ready on Friday so I didn't have to bother with packing I just grabbed their suitcase and we were out the door. So 3 1/2 hours later we get to Texarkana, it normally only takes about 2 hours its about 200miles away-but the weather was just horrible on the way down there. When we got to TK we went straight to the hospital were my granny is, we were greeted by my cousins, and my aunts, as well as my parents.

About a half hour later they were releasing my granny with some prescriptions for her Vertigo and blood pressure.
We all ended up staying at my aunts house, the original plan was for Ed and I to get a hotel room for our family, because our family of 4 is just to big in my opinion and I hate putting people out of their houses (just a personal thing). But, my aunt and my parents persuaded us to stay there at my aunts house with all of them. It ended up being a good thing because it was a long night that night with my granny. I won't go into details but I'm so glad I was there with them.
It rained the whole time we were down there, Ed and I were able to get out Sunday morning and we went on a little shopping trip, while my parents kept the girls. Ed ended up getting about 6 sweat suits and I got an outfit, and I got Erin a couple spring/ summer outfits.

I sure hated to head home and leave my granny and my extended family. But, we had to get back home. My granny is doing a little better now, thank God. She had us ALL worried that this was it. I'm so glad God decided it wasn't her time just yet.
My granny's birthday is the day after Ed and I's anniversary so we made a little promise to each other that she would see me and I would see her for her birthday and she would see us on our anniversary or around those dates. My granny will be 85 years old and she still looks fabulous and she's so classy and a true southern belle!!
I didn't take any pictures this trip because we were all so stressed and busy and it just wasnt' the time to take photo's. I kind of wish I would have for memory sake but that's OK.
Our first official spring break activity taking the girls to the Movies!! I'll try to get the pictures posted later in the week. I originally wasn't going to blog this week but figured I'd better try to get it wrote down before I forgot some of the details.
The pictures in this post are pictures we took Saturday before we left for TK (Texarkana).

Mama's Song

I have two girls and I pray when they get older (much older) they are going to say this to me and feel this good about their mate. I'm in tears listening to it and thinking about my girls. I love this song and EVERYTHING Carrie Underwood is saying in it. I can hear my precious girls saying this to me one day. I so want God to bless my girls with good, Godly, protecting, providing mates, committing, and faithful mates. And, more than anything I pray God gives me what I need to be able to teach my girls how to pick a man that has these characteristics.

So to all the mama's of young ladies!! Listen and enjoy this song called Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood.

To me I will always see them as my little girls!!

Mr. & Mrs. Williams

I'm always taking pictures of the girls.I know I had mentioned last week that I was going to the beauty shop this past weekend and I did. I got a little bit of my hair cut off, and I didn't end up getting any color because all she had was black and I wanted to go a little lighter. But, I've got an appointment this coming weekend and we're going to try something a little different hope it turns out OK. Here's how it looks now.

Ed is just not into taking all the pictures-I guess its a man thing:) But, I was able to get a couple pictures of him this past weekend. I'm in the midst of planning out what we're going to due next week with the girls, since Eriana will be out for Spring Break. I've got lots planned but I don't know if we are going to be able to get it all done during the week. I know our next two weekends will be jammed packed with activities, at least that's the plan anyway.
I was sitting here thinking about how long Ed and I have been together we have been together going on 11 years on April 15Th, and we will be married 7 years on April 16Th. I can't believe it we have been through SO much during our 11 years I can't even believe it, we've been living together since I turned 18 years old, and we have been together since I was 17 years old.

People always say that 7 year itch comes around in a marriage and it's a hard time for any marriage and I'd have to agree a little. Especially since we have been together since I was a teenager and now I'm 28. It just feels like he's all I know, HECK he is all I know....
Which at times I find myself thinking I was too young. I want my girls to focus on school and having fun in their young ages, not getting married and having babies. I mean my life is good for me but I want so much for my girls to not make some of the same "choices" I did-I want them to make smarter choices and be more thoughtful about their futures when making choices and decisions.
I LOVE HIM!! That's for sure, and I'm guessing we're going to be together another 10 or 11 years-ha!
**I should have titled this post 7-Eleven (our 7 year wedding anniversary and our 11 year being together, in April)**

Beautiful Girls

This weekend was pretty laid back for us. Saturday, I had errands to run all day,and then later that evening we went and got my niece and she spent the night at our house, I hate I didn't get any pictures of her while she was over I was so busy trying to clean up and fix them dinner, and then Sunday we all went to church and afterwards we went to eat at Lubys. We have been having some beautiful weather these past few days. I took the girls outside Eriana rode her bike and Erin rode her scooter. Which reminds me that I want to try and get Erin a bike here before summer.
I got to get my darling daughers dressed Sunday and we took some pictures, I tried to have a mini photo shoot Sunday before church, I even got Ed in on a couple pictures but I'll post those later this week.

Later yesterday evening, I went to the grocery store and Ed kept the girls while I went to visit with and old friend that I was on drill team with, Jinekquar me and her were so close in HS, she had a baby about 3 months ago so I went over to her place and visited with her and baby Mason. When I got home I had a little issue but its better now for the most part.

We don't have much planned for the week Eriana has her dance class today and Erin has hers later this week. I plan on rearranging our master bedroom one day this week.

I got some really good pictures of my beautiful girls this weekend, I don't want to post them all on my blog because I plan on using some for a family card I'm going to send out. I'm also going to get a couple of them blown up to frame.

T.G.I.F

So glad its the weekend!! I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow to get my stitches out and teeth cleaned. Afterwards I've got a much needed hair appointment, I haven't been to the beauty shop in forever, and my hair is in need of a major spring cleaning-ha! I'm thinking I'm going to get it cut just a little and I'm still debating on getting it colored. Then after that I'm looking forward to relaxing and getting a little shopping in over the weekend with my little girls.
So I'll be pretty busy this weekend, we've got a few other errands do to. But, I plan on having a stress free, relaxing weekend.
